About Me

As a Director in the Real Estate Tax team with over 10 years’ experience, I advise a wide variety of clients ranging from UK property investors and developers to overseas investors and property funds. I enjoy working closely with my clients to grow their property portfolios tax efficiently, keeping in mind, the numerous other financial and commercial implications. 

I have extensive knowledge across several sub-sectors within the real estate industry including: Private Rented Sector, student accommodation, healthcare (particularly care homes), renewable energy and large scale development and regeneration projects together with joint ventures between the public and private sector. 

Overview of Experience

• Advising on appropriate tax efficient structures to adopt for acquisition of UK and international property portfolios including structuring fund launches

• Due diligence for various real estate backed businesses both UK based and international

• Advising on the tax implications of group reorganisations including seeking appropriate clearances from HMRC.

• Advising both the private sector and the public sector on PFI related issues including review of tax calculations within the financial model.

• Tax compliance affairs of large corporate groups including non-resident landlords and partnerships.
